What should my child wear for Portrait Day?
We recommend that your child wear tights with their dance outfit. Remember to bring any outfit accessories that go with the outfit that will be worn during the recital.
**On picture day, be sure to double check your child's face for any leftover breakfast and eye/nose crust.
What if my child has two dance recital outfits?
You can choose to have your dancer photographed in more than one outfit; you will receive individual proofing galleries per outfit.
What should I do to prepare my child for Portrait Day?
For many children, this is their first portrait day... and that can be very intimidating. You can prep your child by letting them know
"Ms. Kelly will be taking your picture today, and she's looking forward to seeing your smile. I bet she will make you laugh. You're going to have so much fun!"
Please, whatever you do for the love of life, do not teach them to say "cheeseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee"....
I will be extra silly so your child will hopefully give us a real, genuine smile... the one you love and will want to frame for keeps.
How long will it take to see my child's photos?
Parents/Guardians will receive a personal password protected proofing gallery link via email about 2-3 weeks after Portrait Day.
How do I place an order?
Approximately 2 to 3 weeks after photo day, you will receive an email with a direct link to your student’s password-protected photo proofing gallery. All orders are placed online. Print orders will ship directly from the Print Lab to the address provided at checkout. Digital files are delivered via email with a download link within 48 hours of purchase.
There is no obligation to purchase.
What is the cost?
A la carte Prints start at $16. Packages start at $30, and Single Digital Images are $36 with the option to purchase the whole digital gallery of images for $89 per gallery. *Packages include tax and shipping.
When is the deadline to place an order?
You will have approximately 9 days to place your order from the time you receive your proofing gallery link. If you need more time, please send an email to Info@KellyPowerPhotography.com with an extension request along with your child's name & dance studio and we will be happy to extend the expiration date.
Can I share my child's gallery with others?
Absolutely!
Your gallery is password protected so only those who you share your personal link and password with directly can view your child's gallery. We know this makes Grandparents very happy!
*You will receive the link and password via email about 2- 3 weeks after you child's photo day. If you do not receive your link, please email Hello@KellyPowerPhotography.com Be sure to include your child's name and the name of the dance studio.

How can other schools or dance studios contact you?
We would love to add your preschool or dance studio to our schedule. We work with preschools and dance studios with at least 35+ students, ages 8 and under.
